ABOUT TERRA CLEAN & PET CARE

There are two particularly good reasons I started this service. The first is because I love to clean - well, I might be stretching that a little bit. Nonetheless, having had a mother who enthusiastically instilled cleanliness and good order without excuses throughout my tender years of growth, I know the job well. Being extremely well organized and detailed, key elements of the professional cleaning business, doesn't do any harm either. I am very good at what I do. My love for people, business savvy and genuine desire to help those in need are the reasons this profession makes sense to me.

However, there is one other reason that is equally important, and that is the concept of "lost opportunity cost"

Most of my working career has been associated with executive level administration. Another area where my organizational skills and attention to detail were constantly rewarded with more responsibility. I was happy in this environment until one day I realized that I was so busy helping other people meet their goals, I was curtailing my own aspirations. I really wanted to run my own company - to be my own boss - to set my own goals - to reward myself for hard work and perseverance.

Not taking this step meant that I would sacrifice my own opportunities. Unfortunately, all of us do this to a degree. I can't change this for everybody, but there is some real satisfaction in knowing that if I do your cleaning, perhaps you will gain some time to address your own opportunity costs so that you can be doing something for yourself and not cleaning house.
